Sheep have to be shaved and that is where the sheepskin lining comes from. But any leather or suede shoe comes from an animal that died.

salt stains is what happens when they get wet u can buy stuff to take the stains out or... water and vinegar, mix together. secret way to get rid of salt stains, works-- i use it on my uggs :)
Do bearpaw boots have real fur?
YES they may contain real fur. I was in TKMaxx the other day and noticed a pair (they were quilted and suede with fur lining) on reading the label I was HORRIFIED to see that they were made from REAL FUR. Please avoid this brand.

UGG is a hugely popular brand of sheepskin boots - they're made from sheepskin - not suede. BUt bottom line - UGG is a brand of boots - not a type of boots - and suede is a material boots and shoes can be made of -- not a type of boots

Maybe if they had a heel or were leather but probably not. Definately not uggs.

I used a magic eraser on my daughter's uggs and it looks like it took some of the color out, they are lighter in spots now. Also they don't seem as furry like it matted down the suede or something.

Yes they can. That is exactly what i do. Don't pay twenty dollars to have "UGG" leather spray. Truly they're the same.

Neither is better. They are both comfertable and cute. Which one you prefer is up to you.

I Honestly Think That The Chestnut Color Is Better For Uggs Because It Can Go With More Clothes Than Black Does :)

not exactly. some ugg boorts are not waterproof. this is depend on the leather of the boots.
