male has a dark ring and female has light ring male has a dark ring is usually taller has a more like square head shape female has a light ring or no ring doesnt get as tall as a male and the head shape is more rounded if this still doesnt help go to your local pet shop and ask to get your Indian ringneck DNA sexed. hope this helps
It's not a problem, in a way it's a good thing because, while a dog may eat a cockatiel if it becomes angry with it, a cockatiel definatly won't eat a dog!
You are soposed to give cockatiels grit so that they can digest their food better. All you have to do is by a container at the pet store and sprinkle a littl ebit on your cockatiel's food. Better to give them a separate container.
for a pet bird, i would probably say that it would be a cockatiel or a parakeet
