I believe that both breeds are great pets! They can both learn to talk and with the right treatment they are both very friendly birds. It really depends what you are looking for, Both birds are fantastic pets so I would chose either!

male has a dark ring and female has light ring male has a dark ring is usually taller has a more like square head shape female has a light ring or no ring doesnt get as tall as a male and the head shape is more rounded if this still doesnt help go to your local pet shop and ask to get your Indian ringneck DNA sexed. hope this helps
