The Game Boy was a grey, brick-shaped piece of plastic that came out in 1989. It was hugely popular at hte time of release. The Game Boy Advance is a much more sleek-looking system that came out in 2001. Its graphics were 3x better than the original Game Boy's. In between these systems, Nintendo released the Game Boy Pocket (A smaller original Game Boy), the Game Boy Light (A backlight version of the game boy pocket - Released Japan only) and the Game Boy Color.
