Every avid fan of either the PS3 or the 360 will say that their console is better. I am personally a 360 fan, however, I also own a PS3. In my personal opinion, the 360 is better for the average game because of the graphic quality and the amount of games that it has to offer, however the PlayStation is also good in it's own right for games like God of War or InFamous. Personally i would recommend a 360, but do a little research as to what games and services each has to offer (LIVE and PSN) and then decide what is best for you.
