bidding ON something
No, bided adieu is not correct. It "bid adieu" as in 'He bid adieu to the planes Indians.'
Perfectly fine "I'll be happy to bid adieu to these braces" "Well, friends, it's time I bid you all adieu; I've got a 6:10 tee-time tomorrow"
An Auction??
A bid is making a financial offer for something or the amount of money that you will pay for something. A tender is offering a service at a specific price.
A price offer in bidding is called a bid price. Someone bidding on something, like at an auction, can bid on the item, which is called the bid price.
I looked this up and couldn't even find the site. If you bid on any auction site and win you do have to pay for it.
1. go to auctions. 2. click on the horse you want to bid for. 3. there is a button that says something along the lines of "bid higher". 4. check on the bid often. if someone bids higher than you, click the "bid higher" button again. you can click it as many times as you want.
The definition for bid is as follows: an offer for something, typically at an auction. A secondary definition is a formal greeting of farewell to another person.
you can win them, buy them, trade something for them, bid on an auction or get them rarely.
A biddability is the extent to which something or someone can be bid for, or the quality of being biddable.
bid
You would need to find the antonym to bid. In this instance, I would think "question" or "ask" might work. If you bid someone to do something, you tell them to do it.
