Asteroid can last up to 100 years before it hits earth.
In order of size, smallest to largest, it could be a meteoriod, a defunct cometary nucleus, a comet, an asteroid, a planetesimal or a plutino.
The main difference between an asteroid and a meteoroid is size. Asteroids are larger objects, typically measuring more than 10 meters in diameter, while meteoroids are smaller, ranging from a few meters down to dust-sized particles. Additionally, asteroids are usually found in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, while meteoroids can be found in various places, including the asteroid belt, as well as comets or other sources.
Tiamat is no longer. All that remains is the asteroid belt. See Sitchin, Velikovsky, and Melchizedek for more.
From the sun it goes Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, ASTEROID belt, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto (although no longer classed as a planet). So the earth is inside the orbit of the asteroid belt.
The largest asteroid, Ceres, is in the asteroid belt.

No.

Zero. By definition a meteoriod cannot hit the earth. On a meteoriod enters the atmospehe it becomes a meteor amd when it hits the earth it is a Meteorite.
It is then called a meteorite.
A meteor is a meteoroid that... burns up in Earth's atmosphere.
because Pluto is like an asteroid it is so tiny
Plutono (plutoo) looks too much like a asteroid!!! @nts rule

After an impact with an asteroid or comet, a lot of dust is flung into the atmosphere. All this dust blocks the Sun's light, causing global temperatures to drop, and consequently - longer winters.
same thing as a meteor. a ball of light thats visible and hits the earth or explodes in mid air
