Beneficial is maybe the wrong word. Neither system is better for you, but the metric system is better. I've grown up in Britain, where we are officially metric but the Imperial system is a long time dieing. I've had to use both systems all my life, and metric is far easier to use, understand and calculate with.
The metric system uses base 10 for everything; that is it counts in tens, we do this in all maths. we use the numbers 0 to 9 for all our normal counting. The Imperial system doesn't use the number ten as it's base; but three, twelve, fourteen, eight, twenty, and a whole host of others, making it's calculations very complicated.
From experience, metric is easier all round. I think that makes it better, but not more beneficial.
SI is more universally used because even outside of science, the metric system is more used than the English. Very few countries use the English system.
SI units are more accurate than English system units
si units are based on the metric system system international (French) international system (English)
SI (French abbreviation for "International System") is, in English, the metric system. So the standard measure in SI is the meter.
The International System of Units (SI) is considered more acceptable than the English system because it is based on a consistent set of units that are globally recognized, making it easier for scientists and engineers to communicate and collaborate. The SI system also has a logical structure with interconnected units derived from seven base units, while the English system has inconsistent conversion factors and unit sizes. Overall, the SI system promotes clarity, accuracy, and precision in measurements.
There are seven SI Base Units. These are:metre -distancekilogram -masssecond -timeampere -electric currentkelvin -thermodynamic temperaturecandela -luminous intensitymole -amount of substanceAll other SI units are called Derived Units.Read more: at the related link
the metric system/SI
The SI measurement system is used in science because it is based on a set of standardized units that are more coherent and easier to convert between. The English System has more varied and inconsistent units, making it harder to work with in scientific calculations and experiments. Standardization in SI units also promotes consistency and accuracy in scientific communication and research.

Not universal
Si enviar mas in English means whether to send more.
The SI system is preferred over the English system because it is based on a coherent set of units that are derived from fundamental physical constants, making it more consistent, easier to convert between units, and less prone to errors. It is also used internationally, promoting standardization and ease of communication in scientific and engineering fields.
