No. Some OEMs may ship with a trial version, and you may also be able to purchase it as part of a bundle with Vista. But by default Windows Vista does not come with Office.

Answer (maybe)"Microsoft Office 2000, Microsoft Office XP, Microsoft Office 2003, and the 2007 Microsoft Office suites are all supported on Windows Vista."..."Because Office 2000 and Office XP are in Extended Support, there have been no fixes for issues that occur when these products are run on Windows Vista."So...my interpretation is that you can get the usual security patches until the end of extended support (2011 for OXP). But if something breaks under Vista, you're out of luck. There is a particular problem with Outlook XP under Vista (or Windows 7); because of changes in the Windows security system, Outlook XP is unable to save account passwords when running under Vista. So every time you run Outlook, you have to enter the account password.AnswerYes. You can check the compatibility of any program with that of Windows Vista by finding the "Application Compatibilty Tool/Wizard" in the Microsoft web site. I myself have Office XP Pro on my Vista machine. It should work fine. When it comes the version of Vista you have, it doesn't matter.Yes it is compatiable and works fine. I use Office 2000depends on the computer there is a vist upgrade advisor on the Microsoft webpage
If you have upgraded from XP to Windows 7, there is no way to can your office back. If you have switched from Vista (depends on version), you should be able to find all applications in "All Programs" menu. In many cases after upgrading, previously installed software becomes not available. It means that you have reinstall office and so on.
Windows 2000 is an operating system developed about 10 years ago. During the past 10 years MicroSoft innovated their Operating systems (XP,Vista , and Windows 7) to automatically recognize devices such as printers, cameras, scanners, USB drives, Etc. that the user could "plug amd play" the devices without first installing drivers. Also advanced security features have been incorperated into Internet explorer, Windows media player, and the network devices. Lastly are the bells and whistles such as previewing an item minimized to the taskar or viewing multiple windows at the same time(snap to).
I am using Windows 7 now and its much better than xp
