The 1922 Australian Penny does not have dots.

The incredibly confusing system of dots above and/or below the scrolls was used as a mintmark to distinguish between coins minted at the Sydney Mint and the Melbourne Mint in 1919 and 1920.

What is fourth rarest Australian Penny?

If you refer to general circulation Australian Pennies rather than Proof coins, the order runs something like this - 1. 1930 Penny is the rarest 2. 1920 Penny with no dots on the reverse 3. 1925 Penny 4. 1946 Penny

Why is the 1930 Australian Penny so valuable?

Not all Australian coins are considered to be valuable, just some. Not including Proof coins, bullion coins and other non-circulating coins made from precious metals, the most valuable Australian general circulation coins (all now withdrawn) in no particular order are -1930 Penny1923 Halfpenny1915 (H) Florin (Two Shillings)1920 Penny (no dots on reverse)1925 Penny1915 (H) Shilling1912 Florin1913 Florin1914 (H) Florin1932 Florin1933 FlorinAny of these coins should get $10,000 AUD or more in mint uncirculated condition. It should be noted that you are very unlikely to see any mint uncirculated examples of these coins outside a museum or the collections of very wealthy collectors. The (H) is a very small mintmark, usually on the reverse, indicating that the coin was struck at the Heaton Mint in Birmingham, England.Currently, there are no spectacularly valuable Australian decimal coins, but that may change in 50 or 100 years.

What is a 1920 Australian Penny no dots in very good condition with 6 pearls and the only 1920 coin you know with an extremely rare broken O in reverse worth?

An Australian 1920 Penny with no mintmark was minted in either Melbourne or Sydney. The 6 pearls is a reference to how worn the coin is and refers to the pearls around King George V's crown. There should be 8 visible on a mint condition coin. The reference to the broken "O" on the reverse is so rare that it is not mentioned in Australian coin catalogues. An Australian 1920 Penny (no mintmark, no dots), uncirculated and in absolute mint condition could fetch up to $11,500 AUD. If it has been circulated but still in good condition, it might fetch anything from $7 to $1,900 AUD. A reputable coin dealer may be able to assist with verifying the coin and give a more accurate valuation.

Does Adele silva have any tattoos?

yes, she has one on her left inner wrist, it's a circle, it says (one Penny) and it has 3 black dots representing 3 very special people in her life. Penny is her mama's name, and a guess of the 3 dots probably represent her mama penny, her grandma Doreen, and her half brother.

What Australian penny is high value?

Assuming that they are in mint uncirculated condition, the most valuable Australian general circulation Pennies in approximate order of value would be the - 1930 1925 1920 - depending on mintmark 1919 - depending on mintmark 1946 Circulated coins will still have some collector value depending on their condition.

What Australian Pennies should you be keeping a look out for?

Australian Pennies were minted from 1911 to 1964 inclusive. Some years had more than one type of Penny minted, some slightly different because they were minted in different mints, some overseas. There were no Pennies issued in 1937 and 1954. The rarest Australian Penny is the 1937 pattern coin (which were never released into circulation), the 1920 (no dots) and 1930 coins are rare, and 1925 and 1946 coins are considered to be scarce. If any of these coins were available, they would be well outside the budget for most people. A Proof Penny from any year would be valuable. A mint uncirculated Penny from 1948 or earlier would be valuable. Most "Extremely Fine" coins from 1946 or earlier would be valuable. Grading of circulated coins * Good - A heavily worn coin with design visible, though flat in most areas. * Very Good - Well worn, though design and main features are reasonably clear. * Fine - The highest points of the design and lettering show some smooth wear. Fine scratches maybe seen in the field and on the design. The rim border is also smooth in some parts. * Very Fine - The design and lettering is clearly defined, but some slight wear is evident on the high points of the design and rim border. A few minor scratches may be seen. * Extremely Fine - Little wear is evident on the high points of design and lettering. All fine detail can be seen and a few fine scratches may be found from rough handling in modern minting processes. Some mint bloom or lustre may be seen. If you are looking towards collecting Australian Pennies, get yourself a copy of "The Pocket Guide to Australian Coins and Banknotes", a relatively cheap publication recommended by the Royal Australian Mint".

Where is the mintmark on a 1943 Australian Penny?

Australian 1920 pennies were minted in both Melbourne and Sydney. On the reverse side underneath the word "PENNY", is a scroll. Coins minted in Melbourne will have a small dot under the scroll, coins minted in Sydney will have a small dot above the scroll. Some coins have no dot and could have been minted at either the Melbourne or Sydney Mints. The "no dots" coins are classified as rare. This means of determining the mint, only applies to 1920 pennies.

What is an Australian Penny?

It depends on how much money you have to spend on a hobby. Australian Pennies were minted from 1911 to 1964, so there are not too many of them and if you do not set your goals too high, you should be able to manage a respectable collection of Australian Pennies without much trouble. The fact that they were minted for 54 years does not mean that there are only 54 different Pennies. There were no Australian Pennies minted in 1937 or 1954. In other years, Pennies were minted in more than one place, and sometimes overseas, so there are two or more slightly different versions of the same coin in some years. The Australian 1930 Penny is one of the rarest coins in the world, the 1925 and 1946 Pennies are not quite as rare, and one version of the 1920 Penny is also rare, so it is very possible that you may never have one of these in your collection. Australian Pennies should be a coppery brown in colour and they will all have AUSTRALIA stamped on them. The design should be clear and well defined with no, or very little wear, the printing should be easily read and there should be no dents or scratches. Have fun.
