Definitely Airbus, they had spend trillions designing "Pilot Proof Planes" is almost impossible to crash one as the onboard computer don't aloud pilot to do stupid things like raising the nose without control or to sink the aircraft.
yes
Airbus, of course, contends that they are safer than any other aircraft. This has yet to be proven.
The dedicated individuals who devote their lives to making aircraft bigger, safer, and more fuel efficient, like the people at Boeing.
Using fatal accident data, there have been 5 fatal accidents in the 757. (2 of those were part of 9/11, 2 were likely pilot error, and only 1 was due to mechanical failure.) There have been 8 fatal accidents with the A320, all of which haven't been fully decided whether they were pilot or mechanical error.
It's safer than you think. It's very rare that anything ever happen during flight. If it wasn't safe, the FAA wouldn't allow you to fly on it.
The reason pilots engage the auto-pilot after take-off is to ease their time flying and to reduce the workload that they have to do in the cockpit. It it much safer to do this rather then hand-flying it.
oh. by safer sex. safer abilities. & safer people. you know. ;)
Aircraft are way safer
Space probes would be safer.
