10mg of Hydrocodone is stronger than 7mg, although i must say there is currently NO pill that is prescribed that is 7mg. Hydrocodone is prescribed in the following dosages: 2.5mg, 5mg, 7.5m and 10mg. It is possible to get a higher dosage "specially formulated" 15mg dosage Hydrocodone capsule if your doctor so orders it on the Rx and you can find a Pharmacy that will compound it. But, these are rarely if ever seen and are the exception, not the rule of what you will be prescribed. Remember 10mg is the highest dosage pill you can possibly be prescribed that is formulated by a large mfg. company. NOTE: there is NO such thing as a "500mg" or "750mg" Hydrocodone or Vicodin tablet... that large number refers to the Acetaminophen (Tylenol) content that is co-formulated with the tablet. You want the lowest of the LARGE numbers which usually appear on the Rx bottle. (EXAMPLE: 10/325mg Hydrocodone is: 10mg Hydrocodone and 325mg Tylenol.)
Hope this helps! I am NOT a doctor, so ask your doctor if you are still confused.
Tylenol 4 has codine in it... Different high. Tylenol 4 is like drinking lean or cough syrup.
well the main is 7.5 750 5/325 the ones that have oxy is 5 10 and the highest for hydrocodone is 7.5 oxy is 10
no
It's the same amount of Hydrocodone (5mg); the 325 and the 500 are the amounts of Tylenol.
Vicodin 5-500 has 5mg of hydrocodone and 500mg of acetaminophen (tylenol). However Vicodin 10-500 has 10mg of hydrocodone and 500mg of acetaminophen. The only difference is the 10-500 has 5mg more than the other one. its stronger by 2x.
10mg is the strongest prescribed. There are different variations such as 10/325, 10/500, 10/660, and I think the make a 10/750. The larger numbers are the acetaminophen combined with the hydrocodone.
Everyone is different , but generally oxycodone is better.
no difference, the 10 milligram is just stronger, it may show as a stronger positive in the test result.
which is stronger - hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325 - oxycodone/acetaminophen-5-325 or hydromorphone 4mg
The Hydrocodone M357 tablet is a 5/500. The Oxycodone 512 tablet is a 5/325. Oxycodone is a stronger painkiller than Hydrocodone. Not only is the Oxycodone tablet stronger, but it would also be better for your liver since it contains less Acetaminophen (Tylenol).
The 10 represents the amount of hydrocodone in the pill. The 325 represents the amount of tylenol. So, the difference between a 7.5 and a 10 is, a 10 has a whopping 2.5mg more hydrocodone than the 7.5! Personally in my opinion, I really dont get the whole '7.5' deal. Just make it 7 or 8, sheesh, like the .5 makes a huge difference. Anyway, hope I helped.
The first is a muscle relaxant. The latter is a narcotic pain med. They cannot be compared.
Hydrocodone apap 7.5 and 500 are refering to the strength of the medication. 5.00 is obviously less than the 7.5. And the difference between them and the loratab 10 is still the dosage. Loratab is another name for hydrocodone and the 10 is just a stronger dosage.
They're both hydrocodone bitartrate (almost all of the time, when found in pills such as Lortab and Vicodin)- so 7.5mg is stronger than 5mg.
