Unlink Windows XP, Windows 2000 is non plug n play OS. You will have to provide drivers for each device present in your computer. Hence, the best way to find out drivers is to visit the hardware vendor website to see if the audio card is compatible with Windows 2000.
The problem is linked to filter and codec you have installed on your computer. For anyone that have windows vista premium and use windows DVD maker to burn DVD. This is the exact solution to resolve the problem: The filter and codec I installed on my computer was vista codec pack. Maybe some of you installed the same one. The problem comes from this codec pack. You need to remove that pack in the unistall program section. After this, you install this codec pack that works for me and my father and did not cause the SID problem. Install the K-lite mega codec pack (compatible with vista) that you can found here: http://codecguide.com/download_mega.htm For anyone that have the same problem on other burner software and on windows xp, try to install an another codec but you can choose the same one because this codec is windows xp compatible. Hope you will resolve the problem...
