Your lowest latency is going to be with a Firewire audio interface. The best Firewire interface with a guitar input is the RME Fireface 400.
well it depends what you are trying to do. If you have certain music creating systems they come with a usb cord to connect your guitar to record guitar parts, or if you have a smart guitar to download songs you connect it to your computer. other then that I don't know.
no
Of course, you can only hook a guitar to the guitar mixes on the game, but when you go to play the setlist, itll say you need to connect a guitar, that's when you connect it
There is no cord that will allow you to record directly from an amplifier into a computer. To record from an amplifier, you have to go through an audio interface.
There's no way to fix the receiver for your guitar but you can try to connect your guitar to the console by plugging the receiver into the port and then turning on the console. The guitar and receiver should connect on their own.
Plug it in
You just plug in the receiver in Port 1. Then you turn on your PS2 and the Guitar and it's receiver will connect by them self..
I don't think so.. . ...
It depends on how serious you want to get, I have a pretty basic / cheap setup. I use a program called Kristal Audio to record. If you google Kristal audio you will find it. I think it is a free download. You also need a usb interface or someway to connect your guitar to the computer. I have a Behringer 'guitar link'. Again if you search for a 'usb audio interface' you will find something for sale. When I bought the Behringer usb interface the recording program came with it, so maybe you should check usb interfaces out first.
Connect the guitar to a processor such as a Line6 Pod or Boss GT. Connect the output of the processor to an analog or digital input of the home theater system.
This is very easy to do with the right usb interface. I use Stealth Plug by IK Multimedia for a great sound. It hooks up to the guitar lead to your computer via usb, the hardware also comes with some software to record your rips. It great check it out. anonymous@oola.com
