the cummins. Hands down.
if you said any Dodge older than a 2005, I'd go with the duramax, but the trannies in the 05 and up dodges are much better, and you cant beat a cummins for power and reliability.
I have a 2002 Duramax 80,000 miles I have a steady 16mpg to and from work about 20 miles, and on trips running cruise control at 73-74 I have a steady 18.5mpg. Not bad for a truck of its sizebut it could be better.
They could be, it depends on the vehicle. On a dodge truck with the Cummins diesel from 1989-2002 it is left-hand thread for example. They could be, it depends on the vehicle. On a dodge truck with the Cummins diesel from 1989-2002 it is left-hand thread for example.
Pump is about 150 and I just charged 200 in labor on a customers 03 duramax pickup.

I have read only Ca models do.
Depends on the value and overall condition. I believe that model is built on a Freightliner chassis, meaning it would have either a Cummins or Mercedes-Benz engine.. the Cummins would be the better option.
300 - 2500+ lbs./ft, depending on which MODEL of Cummins engine you're referring to.
