There is nowhere on earth that the sun never sets, however when you are North of the Arctic circle (66.5 degrees N lattitude) the sun stays up all day and night for a period of time around the summer solstice, and never rises for a period of time around winter solstice. Canada, Alaska, Greenland, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Russia all have territory North of the Arctic circle. The same is true when one is south of the Antarctic Circle (66.5 degrees S latitude) except that winter and summer seasons are opposite in the Southern Hemisphere
