The first published Alice book was Alice's Adventures in Wonderland which came out in 1865.
There is an older version however. Lewis Carroll hand wrote a version of the story as a gift to Alice Liddell, who inspired the story. It was called Alice's Adventures Under Ground and he gave it to her in 1863. After the success of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, he borrowed it from her and had a facsimile version published in 1886.
The sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass, was published in 1871.
