Drivers side, front to rear, 1,3,5,7. Pass., side, front to rear, 2,4,6,8. The firing order is 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2.
The first one was used from 55-57 and the second one was used from 94-96. They are not similar.
The slave cylinder is actually built onto the throw-out bearing. If you have a problem with it you will have to pull the trans.
If you're referring to the horsepower of the Chevy 265 that's in the 94-96 Caprice, it's 200 hp. The Chevy 265 V8 installed in the 1955-57 Chevy had 162 H.P.
