This is an outdated custom, but in the 1980's the gay side was the right ear.
right
Right ear
The left ear should be the correct ear to be pierced. If you get your left ear pierced your not gay if you get your right you are gay but if you get both it means nothing.
I'm not sure how much it matters at all anymore. Growing up in the 80's and early 90's, a right-side piercing identified a man as gay as part of LGBT “culture and code” to identify to the community. The left-side is widely accepted as heterosexual or straight while dual piercings indicate homosexuality or other varied expressions of sexuality. Wear / pierce whatever you want. Just have fun and be you!
most lads have earrings on there left ear.
To some, a single piercing on either side is considered "gay". What i hear in school though, Its the Right side is gay. left is not. To stay safe, id pierce both =^.^=
No. This is an urban legend.
Yes, also if a guy has his left ear pierced it means he's gay, if the right side is pierced, he is staright
Yes, of course. Have you noticed his earing, it's in the right ear. Right ear= gay; Left ear= straight.
It actually depends on the orientation of the man, if he's gay or bisexual, he wears it on his left ear. If he's straight he wears it on his right ear.
left if he is straight and right if he is gay
If a man's orientation is gay, he pierces his right ear, if his orientation is straight, he pierces his left ear.
