Not a definite answer, but cars in those days were not as fast as now. I had an Elysee for a while in the 60's, it had the slightly more powerful "Flash special" engine, and as best as i remember it would do about 85 mph. Mind you, i paid only about £10 for it, maybe when younger, it could manage a little more?
