Most of the geysers found in Yellowstone National Park are small and splash only about ten feet in height. There are only six grand geysers that erupt 100 feet or higher. The most famous of these is Old Faithful, which erupts once every 45 to 90 minutes.

Yes there are... There is Mt Porongia and Mt Rhuapahue, they're Mountains and dead volcanoes (sorry there spelling errors in this, I don't know how to spell them! =)) I'm not 100% sure if Mt Rhuapahue is a vocanoe though =) I know Mt Porongia is defintily though! Ruapehu Ngauruahoe and Tongariro are the three in the central North Island. They are considered actives vocanoes. There are about 50 volcanoes in the Auckland volcanic field. Mt Eden, Mt Wellington, Mt Albert, Mangare, Rangitoto etc I think there are only two kinds of volcanoes active and dormant.
