Depends what light you are talking about. Lights on a laptop can vary. Usually, a light which will turn off when the laptop is still on is the loading light, maybe battery light, also wifi light.
You could get a cooling tray. would also want a converter if you don't want to use battery.
Yes There is a battery which we called laptop battery to offer power for the laptop and there is also a inside battery to keep the system time and some other settings
A cooling pad is used for a laptop to reduce the temperature of the device and aid the device in cooling itself. Electronics produce heat, and a laptop produces a lot of heat due to its amount of electronics enclosed in a relatively small case. Laptop cases are also not very well ventilated, so they have trouble cooling themselves if they are used for an extended period of time. A laptop cooling pad aids in cooling by introducing more air to help cool the device.
Your battery is probably "broken" Check if you have disabled battery charging And if the charging light is on it is charging and its a good thing. Also check the adaptor with a multimeter (UNPLUG IT FIRST)
Also, The power light is on and the keyboard lights up for a second. My laptop makes a very light noise which is unusal since it makes a loud noise when it starts up. The screen is also black. I cannot take the battery out unscrewing the whole bottom. I need this laptop asap for work.
That is a comparison question. There are some really good deals on laptop batteries on eBay, and there are also really good prices on laptops almost everywhere you look. I would say in compare them, and depending on the age of your laptop if there is a $100-$200 difference in price between a battery and a new laptop, and you can afford it, a new laptop would make economic sense. I would also look and see if I purchased another battery at the time of the new laptop purchase,,if they would give you a deal on a extra battery also!
On an Acer laptop, the blue light typically indicates that the device is powered on and functioning normally. The orange light usually signifies that the laptop is in sleep mode or that the battery is charging and may also indicate a low battery level. If the orange light is blinking, it may indicate a problem with the battery or charging system. Always refer to the specific user manual for your model for accurate information.
A battery operated laptop will normally be supplied with a battery fitted and this battery will be charged/recharged while the laptop is plugged into the mains. In other words the charger is in the laptop.
Battery run-time on a laptop is difficult to determine. Actual battery running time depends upon the power demands made by the equipment. The use of the screen, the hard drive and other accessories results in an additional drain upon the battery, effectively reducing its running time. The total run-time of the laptop battery is also dependent upon the design of the equipment. Generally, a new Hi-Capacity laptop battery will run 30% to 50% longer than the old laptop battery did when it was new.
A laptop is designed to be portable, which is why a laptop has an internal battery. Laptops can also be powered using a cable plugged into the mains. This power cable is also used to recharge the battery. One advantage of the internal battery in a laptop is, if there is a sudden power outage, the battery will continue to power the laptop until the battery runs down. In a power outage, a desktop computer would simply stop working.
