The clavicle. Right? If you need to really imobilize someone without proper permanent damage, a reasonable way of applying instant pane with not so long lasting effects is to break the clavicle (collar bone) using either a sharp backfist or palm-heel strike. Get your stance right first or you'll damage yourself. And make sure you commit or you'll just look stupid. Clavicle.

What does the skeletal system deal with homeostasis?

Homeostasis is maintained by the hormones that increase osteoblast activity to build bone, called calcitonin which is released by the thyroid gland, and the release of parathyroid hormone which increases osteoclast activity and is released by the parathyroid glands. As long as both of these function normally, the bone mass stays the same, this is a homeostatic state of bone. If it goes out of balance you will either build too much bone, or loose bone mass and develop osteoporosis.

Compact bone is the outer region of all the bones in your body. There are two basic parts of each of your bones:There is an outer hard layer of bone called either compact bone or cortical bone. this layer is much more dense. There is an inner layer of bone called either cancellous bone or trabecular bone. This is a softer bone and contains bone marrow and much more blood vessels than the cortical (compact) bone.
