No petroleum based lubricants of any kind should be used on oxygen acetylene equipment. Using them can cause unexpected flash fires even if the equipment is not ready for use. If you need to lubricate threads on gauges or torch connections, use liquid soap.

Depends on how much oil there is. Running any four-stroke engine with low or no oil is going to cause serious damage. Connecting rods and head parts would most likely go first. Oil acts as a coolant for internal parts as well as a lubricant. Without oil to lubricate, parts will only get hotter, and without oil to cool them, bad, bad things will happen.
You have to put some lubricant on all sliding parts (power window mechanism). You might need to put a little bit of lubricant in between glass and rubber parts too. Also you might have to clean certain parts of the mechanism if it was contaminated before.
