All modern day organisms have an ancestor in the Jurassic.
Identifying which fossil animals are the direct ancestors of any modern day animal is impossible since fossils don't preserve DNA.
However comparing the bones of fossil animals and those of modern day animals, family trees can be hypothesised.
With modern day animals their DNA can be compared to produce much more accurate results.
