John Entwistle was the bass guitarist for The Who. His nickname was "The Ox". He was found dead in his hotel room of a heart attack in 2002 at age 57.

Sadly, John Entwistle died in 2002 at a Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. Some believe he died of a heart attack. (Which doesn't seem likely since he was always so serious on stage..)Also: John Entwistle, on the night of his death, had gone to bed with a stripper who had awoken in the middle of the night to find him cold and unresponsive. Turns out that John had been doing cocaine throughout his adult life. Just this once the cocaine had reacted to his already bad heart condition and it had proven fatal. Poor John died on June 27th, 2002.
