it depends on what you mean if you mean which state has Oregon on its own south & is thus situated directly north of Oregon then most people would probably say the state of Washington & indeed that is true but Idaho would also be correct on the other hand if you mean which state does Oregon have to its south & is thus situated directly south of Oregon then most people would probably say California as well as Nevada & again both would be correct but again so would Idaho also be yes that's right Idaho borders Oregon both to the north & to the south regardless of which way you mean the question not to mention the east & the west which are both also true because the snake river which the Idaho Oregon border follows wiggles in all directions
