One can configure WPA security settings by going under your internet options, which is under the control panel. While in there, there will be an option to configure your WPA settings.

I would suggest WPA-PSK. Several organizations have recently demonstrated how to crack WEP keys in under an hour, and in the case of the FBI, as little as three minutes. WPA-PSK is a much more secure technology.

go to network settings - infractructure mode - new connection - enter manually - enter ssid(syas on or under wireless router e.g. sky45637) - wpa-psk(tkip) - enter wpa key(under router under "network key") - then just do automatic for everything and do not use for proxy server - enter a name and test connection
