There should be two wires in the box, black and white and possibly a bare one depending on the age of the wiring in the house. The fixture has two screws on the base. One wire goes on each screw. If there are short wires on the fixture, black to black and white to white. If there is a bare ground wire in the house box, it attaches to the body of the fixture. If there is no ground screw on the fixture, do not worry about it.
Just tuck it away in the box. Unless you run ground wires throughout the house it won't serve any purpose.
If you don't know how to install light fixture, I don't recommend that you do it by yourself. The installation theory is actually very simple - all you need to do is attach fixture on the ceiling (or any other place) and then connect the electrical wires (usually there are two of them). After that it's good to put the light cover over the fixture to improve the appearance.
Exterior light fixtures can be a big problem because they may penetrate the air barrier, which compromises the heated envelope of the light house. However, the worst fixture is a recessed light that penetrates an attic.

If you're asking whether you have to connect the fixture ground to the house ground, you do. The idea is to connect any exposed portion of a metal fixture to ground, keeping anything you would be able to touch from having a hazardous potential on it. The way to do this is to connect the fixture ground (which is connected to the metal chassis) to the building ground (which comes from your electrical panel).

The only "fixture schedule" I'm aware of is a chart, consisting of lines and columns on a house plan, or other structural plan, which lists, describes, and sometimes provides the specifications for fixtures to be provided/installed in the structure.j3h.

If you mean 2 bare copper wires those are the ground wires. Tie them together and then connect the light fixture ground wire which will be green or bare copper to those ground wires.
Stripping a house before moving out is not legal. Anything that is a FIXTURE must be left. Personal property can be taken. States may vary by what they consider a fixture, but anything that is installed is definitely a fixture. Unless your contract specifically states you may, you may not remove anything that has been installed, EVEN IF YOU INSTALLED IT YOURSELF. It became a fixture of the house when you installed it. EX: A washer and dryer is normally simply hooked up, not installed and is therefore generally considered personal property. A dishwasher, cabinets, stove, etc, are fixtures. A microwave that just sits on the counter is personal property. the over the stove microwave is a fixture. If you are not sure, CHECK YOUR STATE LAW. You can be prosecuted for hindering a secured creditor or theft or similar depending on the state.
A fixture is something that attaches to the house like the water heater, furnace, dishwasher, sinks, toilets, bathtubs etc.
By calculating the fixture requirements and taking friction losses into account and then you choose the pump from this
