The best books to study for the SAT is The college board's official SAT study guide. Get that book and "Answers and Explanations " by Peter Tanguay. Answers and Explanations has the definitive and complete solutions to the SAT tests in the official SAT study guide. This is all you need to score high on the SAT. Good luck.

The SAT Reasoning test is composed of three sections: Critical Reading, Writing, and Math.

Critical Reading: This is a multiple choice section that tests sentence completion and passage-based reading.

Writing: This section consists of multiple choice sections and an essay. This section tests sentence errors, improving paragraphs and essay-writing skills.

Math: This section is made up of multiple choice and grid-in questions. The math section tests Algebra, Geometry, Statistics & Data Analysis and Geometry.
