A vascular plant is a type of plant that has specialized tissues for conducting water and nutrients throughout the organism. These tissues include xylem, which transports water and minerals from the roots to the leaves, and phloem, which distributes sugars and other organic compounds. Vascular plants include a wide variety of species, such as ferns, conifers, and flowering plants. They are distinguished from non-vascular plants, like mosses and liverworts, which do not have these conducting tissues.

i think thhat the inside olant will grow faster becacuse the shaded plant is always going to try to reach to the sun . the one out side will grow but then it will die because the sun is heating it to much so i say that the inside plant will grow faster
