The Freedom Riders were groups of people who rode buses south to protest segregation of the bus station. They were both blacks and whites.
Freedom Riders
ooo
Well the only person I am aware of being historically relevant for sitting at the front of the bus is Rosa Parks. However, she wasn't likely the first. Buses in all black neighborhoods probably had blacks at the front of the bus all the time. It was only an issue if a white person got on the bus. the law said they had to be allowed to sit at the front.
integrate interstate buses and bus terminals
in May 1961, 7 black and 6 white activists travelled on segregated buses in the Southern United States to challenge local laws that enforced segregation. They provoked violent reaction and their actions were considered criminal acts. But in the end, many others followed and the State authorities issued rules prohibiting segregated transportation facilities
don't you think you've asked a silly question to be honest with you. do you know they do have cars, buses, trains, planes and stuff.
The Freedom Riders's goal was to challenge the Jim Crow laws of the South. The original movement began with a group of 40 individuals who boarded buses in Washington DC. They planned to travel throughout the South, eventually ending up in New Orleans. They were stopped and met with resistance in Alabama.

The routes are timed so the buses arrive at the station together. That way, passengers can switch buses without having to wait for too long.
he stopped discrimination against black people in america. In those times, black people weren't allowed to sit on the the same buses as white people or if they had to, they would have to sit at the back. However, black people were the main customers for the bus companies so he created the bus boycott where all black people did not travel on buses and many bus services went bankrupt. Then it was decided that black people were allowed everywhere on buses. Martin luther king also made the i have dream speech because he wanted his children's generation to live in a happy world where there was no segregation or discrimination and that black people were equal to white people.
it was totally unfair! the blacks sat at the back of the bus while the whites had their own section at the front. if a white person had no seat a black person had to give up theirs for the whit person. So sad!
