PS2 has a major advantage over the PS3 of being much cheaper than the PS3. There is also a number of used games and consoles available because the many owners of the PS2 had decided to get the better PS3 and have games and systems at almost give away prices. However the PS3 has been out for a number of years and the price continues to decrease and there are also many cheaply priced older games available.
A PS3 is considered to be worth the money and is much better than a PS2. The new features that a PS3 continues to achieve with software updates make it much better than when it was released
