I have no experience with the Browning. I carry a Glock on duty and carry a Baretta in the Army. I rarely ever clean my Glock and it shoots perfectly every time. My Baretta needs to be spotless to fire correctly.
I'd take a Glock any day in a combat situation.
Very likely, it's the Glock. Glock in general is the best selling pistol in the commercial and law enforcement market.
You're probably thinking 7.65, as, to the best of my knowledge, Beretta never made a 7.63 pistol... that cartridge was exclusive to the "Broomhandle" Mauser and a handful of other weapons made in Germany. 7.65x17 Browning SR (Semi-Rimmed) is also sold as .32 ACP.
The Browning medalist was the best by far.If you can find one, these were made from 1959-1974.
Best left to a gunsmith
Neither.
That depends on who you ask. People find different types of handgun better made than others. HK Sig Sawer Smith and Wesson Glock and Berreta are among the most prefered by most Americans.
A Glock for the Reliability and Customization possibilities. Not to mention the price. A Sig Sauer for the Quality. A H&K for the Accuracy. - HungSooner
It sounds like you need repairs done to a pistol. Recommend contacting the Browning Service Dept. at the link below. They will guide you as to the best way to get your gun repaired.
Glock 23, IMO.
There is little difference between them. The better gun is the one that fits your hand best. The Glock has been in production longer and thus there are more parts out there for it and the Springfield is made in Croatia.
Best left to a gunsmith.
This is best left to a trained gunsmith.
