CRETE is much larger than Rhodes. Crete is 8,303 sq. km. or 3,206 sq mi, while Rhodes is 1,402 sq. km. or 541 sq mi.
There are a number of islands just northeast of Crete, including Dragonada, Karpathos, Kos and Rhodes.
