This could be a multitude of answers as you didn't say if the car is almost dragging the rear bumper or has the stinkbug look. If the rear is down it could be the bag or bags are leaking, sensor is bad or compressor has failed. If the rear is high in the air then the valve is stuck so the excess air is not bleeding off.
check the air lines, there can be holes or cracks in the bags or the compressor is not working
Check the air compressor for short There are only a few wire's running to your air compressor and if none of those are causing the problem you are going to have to try and get under the rear of the car where the two wiring harness's are at each air bag and start from there working towards the front to try and find a loose wire or a bad spot. other than that your bags may have leaked causing your compressor to work over time and just blown the fuse and also wore out the compressor.
The air conditioning compressor fuse can be found in the fuse box. The air conditioning compressor fuse is actually a relay switch.
If it has air bag suspension, air bags could be shot or the air compressor for the air bag suspension not working.
The compressor is either bad or your air bags are bad... Get springs from a rear 2wd Expedidion and swap them on your Navigator, is real chep and easy. and it feels just like the air bags. I did it to mine last week...
There is no Air compressor on you Mustang. If you mean the Air Conditioner compressor, the answer is yes. There is s fuse for the A/C compressor.
there is only one relay, for all the air bags its under the hood
Talked to a mechanic when purchasing the vehicle - he said that you have to turn off the air bags in the glove compartment when changing tires to prevent this from happening. Hope this helps.
Probably has air shocks on the rear and fuse controls the on board air compressor
The 2000 Mercedes C280 air conditioning compressor fuse can be found in the fuse box. The air conditioning compressor fuse will be in the second column, fifth from the bottom.
its the air suspension, check the compressor, make sure it is running (no fuse blown). Check your suspension limit switch, make sure its getting power. If all fail,, then your air bags may be leaking and need to be replaced........................................
