∙ 15y agoWherevver the term Pulmonary is seen the Lungs are involved. For example the Pulmonay Artery is the artery that travels from the right atrium to the alveoli of the lungs to get oxygenated. The Pulmonary Vein is the vessel carrying oxygenated blood back to the heart to be pumped around the rest of the body. The term Pulmonary Ventilation is also often used and it means the volume of air that is getting into the lungs. In short the word Pulmonary before another word means that that second word has something to do with the lungs. Lungs.
