Layer 2 - The Data Link Layer Layer 2 of the OSI model provides error-detection capability
IP belongs to the Network layer of the OSI Model and provides information about how and where data should be delivered.
Network Layer This layer addresses the data. It adds an IP address which allows our data to flow across networks. The protocols involved in this layer are IP and IPX. Data Link Layer This layer provides the functional and procedural means to transfer data. It also corrects any errors that may occur in the Physical layer. The protocols used at this layer are media access control and logical link control.
The layer that provides transparency of data between the client and server is the application layer in the OSI model. It allows applications to communicate over a network without needing to understand the underlying complexities of the network architecture. This layer ensures that data is formatted and delivered correctly, enabling seamless interaction between clients and servers.

Open system interconnection is the general networking model. Open system interconnection model is introduced by ISO . Physical layer is the first layer of OSI model.Data link layer is the second layer of OSI model. Data Link Layer, this layer is where we actually assign meaning to the electrical signals in the network.
The network layer is the third level of the Open Systems Interconnection Model (OSI Model) and the layer that provides data routing paths for network communication. Data is transferred in the form of packets via logical network paths in an ordered format controlled by the network layer. The network layer provides the functional and procedural means of transferring variable-length data sequences from a source to a destination host via one or more networks, while maintaining the quality of service functions. networkrepairs.ca
