You can print from Gmail easily. You have to right click on the page to find options. The option contains Print which prints the page.
If you only want to print data from two columns out of your spreadsheet, you can use the Print Area option to choose which ones you want to print. Just select the data and then go to the File menu and click Print Area and Set Print Area. When you then go to print, it will only print what you have selected and not any other data that may be on the spreadsheet. Use Clear Print Area, to restore the printing option to normal.
If you go to the Page Setup on the File menu, and then the Sheet tab, there is an option to print them or not. In Excel 2007, go to the Page Layout ribbon, and you'll see Gridlines having both a View and a Print option.
As with most such questions there is likely more than one answer, but I have always: 1. Selected the area (i.e. range) that I wanted to print. 2. Chosen the 'Set print area' option. 3. In print preview, there is an option to align your printed page. Just click on the box in front of the option you want. Click again to remove the check mark and go back to normal page alignment.

If you want to print only the fourth page of your research document, you can easily do that. Just go to the printer options and select the current page you want to print and you will have it printed.

In the top right corner of your screen, there should be three horizontal lines/bars right under the X. Just click that and the print option is on the drop-down list.
