Aerobic respiration has three main stages: glycolysis, Kreb's cycle and the electron transport chain (oxidative phosphorylation).
Glycolysis takes place in the cytoplasm. The other two stages take place in the mitochondria.
There are two "parts" of cellular respiration that take place in the mitochondria. The first "part" of cellular respiration that occurs in the mitochondria is the Citric Acid Cycle (be aware that glycolysis has already occured in the cytoplasm of the cell). The Citric Acid Cyle occurs in the inner compartment of the mitochondria. After the Citric Acid Cycle, the second part of cellular respiration that occurs in the mitochondria begins. It is known as oxidative phosphorylation, it occurs on the inner membrane of the mitochondria. Therefore the two parts of cellular respiration that occur in the mitochondria are the Citric Acid Cycle and oxidative phosphorylation.
Aerobic respiration take place in mitochondria.Anerobic respiration take place in cytoplasm.
Aerobic respiration occurs in the mitochondrial matrix, which is located in the inner membrane of the mitochondria.
The kreb cycle takes place in cristae.
The second stage of cellular respiration, after glycolysis, occurs in the mitochondria. All of the stages of cellular respiration (after glycolysis in the cytoplasm) occur in the mitochondria.
Cellular respiration takes place in three steps: Glycolysis takes place in the cytoplasm of the cell, The Krebs Cycle takes place in the matrix of the mitochondria, The respiratory chain (oxidative phosphorylation) takes place in the cristae of the mitochondria.
Cellular respiration (aka, aerobic respiration) takes place in the mitochondria (singular is mitochondrion).
The mitochondria are where respiration takes place. The chloroplasts are where photosynthesis takes place.

Cellular respiration occurs in three main steps. The first step takes place in the cytoplasm of the cell. The last two steps take place in the mitochondria(or if cellular respiration is taking place inside of a plant then the last two steps would take place in the chloroplasts) of the cell. Specifically, the second step occurs in the matrix of the mitochondria and the last step occurs along the inner membrane of the mitochondria, or the cristae.

Mitochondrion
Aerobic cellular respiration occurs in the mitochondria. Anaerobic cellular respiration occurs in the cytoplasm.
Cellular respiration takes place in the mitochondria of the cell within the cell membrane.!
