Neurology is the branch of medicine concerned with the study and treatment of disorders of the nervous system. The nervous system is a complex, sophisticated system that regulates and coordinates body activities. It has two major divisions 1.Central nervous system: the brain and spinal cord 2.Peripheral nervous system: all other neural elements, such as eyes, ears, skin, and other "sensory receptors"
The brain is a complex organ that controls thought, memory, emotion, touch, motor skills, vision, breathing, temperature, hunger and every process that regulates our body

The part of the brain that regulates water balance also regulates body temperature. This part of the brain is called the hypothalamus.
