It is not a part of a cell, it is an enzyme produced by cells that breaks down carbohydrates into the component simple sugars that the cells can use. These simple sugars are then "burned" by the mitochondria in cells.
A cell body keeps the cell safe in many ways. It is responsible for repairing the cell, preserving energy and generating new cells.
The cell responsible for breaking down carbohydrates is the pancreatic cell. Within the pancreas, specialized cells called pancreatic beta cells release insulin which helps to regulate blood sugar levels by facilitating the uptake of glucose into cells for energy production.
