Digestion includes the mixing of food, its movement through the digestive tract, and chemical breakdown of the larger pieces of food into smaller pieces. Digestion begins in the mouth, when we chew and swallow, and is completed in the SMALL INTESTINE.
It turns to Bile and is excreted out of your rectum.
Food is not digested in the pancreas. In fact, food doesn't pass through the pancreas at all. The pancreas secretes digestive enzymes to the small intestine (duodenum).
All food is digested in the stomach. The mouth contains enzymes which breaks the food down, but digestion occurs in the stomach and intestines.
