Business computers basically do what other computers do but are built more heavy duty and usually have larger storage space. Some recommended business computers are the HP pro book and the HP elite book.
As it is currently supported by the drivers in Windows, an NTFS partition can be no larger than 256 terabytes.
Some people do not like having a separate /home partition for Linux, though it is better for recovery purposes. For the purposes of the question, it is assumed that you do not want a separate partition for your /home directory. The best performance is provided by placing a Linux swap partition first on the drive. This should be at least double the amount of RAM you have installed, but no larger than 1 GB. You will have to move the XP partition to the end of the drive after you have installed it. The partition after the swap partition should be a Linux partition. I personally prefer ReiserFS, but ext3 is slightly more popular, mostly due to the larger number of error recovery tools. The last partition should be the Windows XP partition.
A partition wall divides a larger space. Non load bearing means that it's not supporting the floor or wall above.
If there is an unallocated space on your disk, you can create partition directly with this unallocated space; if there is no unallocated space on your disk, you should first shrink a comparatively larger partition to get an unallocated space, then create partition
Windows 98 can be installed on a FAT16 or FAT32 partition (FAT32 is the best choice for disks larger than 512 MB, and supports long file names better).
No. A disk image copies a partition's contents, bit-for-bit, to the partition you are using, so if you are using a 40GB partition and are making a disk image of a separate 200GB partition inside of it, you are going to run out of room before the copy is complete. To those who are viewing this question and have expertise in partition access/mounting, please improve this answer by providing a different method of accessing/sharing data between partitions.
The Internet is a perfect example of how individual computers fit into a larger systems. While there are issues and some problems, the system becomes better with more participants.

Probably not. There is a decent chance of corruption / data loss. it is better to back up your files, delete the partition, and create a new NTFS partition instead. ---------- Depends. It's recommended that you back up any important data on the disk. The down fall with FAT32 and NTFS is that FAT32 cannot interpret anything larger than 32GiB Volumes on the Hard Disk. FAT32 Volumes are becoming the primitive Format. However, older machines which use obsolete hardware won't be able to understand the NTFS Structured Volumes. xyr0x
