Perhaps the most visible difference between British Members of Parliament and a member of the US House of Representatives is their voting patterns. In the US House of Representatives, there is much loyalty to the voters who elected him or her to Congress. There is also a degree of loyalty to one's state and lastly, to be loyal to their political party.
