They are called Christians. There are nearly 40,000 different sects of Christians.
They are called Christians.
yes. they are the main carriers of jesus' mission today
There is a lot of church sponsored humanitarian work--for example, Habitat for Humanity. Showing love for people all over the world is the essence of Jesus' message, as far as I'm concerned.
People can still be healed today by God through our faith in Jesus and our prayers.
It depends what religion you are. If you are Mormon, then after you graduate from school, you become a nomad for two years, converting people to Christianity, other people of Christian religions do things such as become Missionaries, or join the Peace Corps.
Really nicely
How is Jesus alive today
Not all of the people in it. But church attendance is falling.
John's Gospel has Jesus clearing the Temple of money-changers at the beginning of the mission of Jesus, some three years befor the crucifixion. In this gospel, Jesus did not make any effort to hide his true nature, as he does in the other gospels, on the contrary making every effort to proclaim his mission. It was consistent with this theme that he would declare his interest in the Temple of his Father as soon as possible. The synoptic gospels all place this incident at the end of the mission of Jesus, as the catalyst for the arrest of Jesus. This appears to have taken place in the synoptic gospels on the day when Jesus entered Jerusalem, commemorated today as Palm Sunday.
Jesus Christ had no political background. His calling was much higher then mere man made politics. Jesus' mission was to come to earth to die for man's sin. Politics compared to this calling is dung! Jesus suceeded in His mission when he died on the cross, was buried, and was resurrected the third day. The salvation that Jesus provides for us today must not be taken lightly. Soon the day of salvation will be gone and mankind, those who do not accept Jesus Christ as their Savior will be doomed forever.
people still talk about Jesus today because he made us believe in god ;) Jesus was very religious and made people have hope as well as he told people how to go to elisium. Jesus is now remembered on Easter (when he came back from the dead) and on Christmas (when he was born)!
If Jesus didn't die as a sacrifice for sin then there would be no Christians. So it is very important for a christian to know what Jesus did and what that means for all people. Today that means a christian can be at peace with God.
