There are some pros and cons of both. I don't know the answer, but I have talked to people with these phones.
PROPEL:

Durable
Easy to text on once you get used to it
Is small, lightweight, and stylish:)
CONS:
Scratches real easy
Takes a while to delete the messages
The keyboard is kinda small
XENON:
PROS:
The keyboard is a good size
Very sleek design
You can text 2 different ways, as apposed to the propel, which has only 1 way to text. So if your keyboard breaks, you always have the touchscreen
CONS:
I heard it can freeze up sometimes?
Delicate (you can drop it, yes, but just not TOO hard!)

I went to AT&T and I can tell you the Impression is by far better. The screen is AMAZING and it is a sturdy phone. The touch screen is very responsive, where the Xenon is not. One look at the two side by side and you know, the Xenon pales in comparision. It honestly looks "little kiddish" and like the plastic is so cheap it will break. Also, AT&T told me Samsung phones have better call quality and less dropped calls! Anyway, I was convinced. I bought it. Also, at&t is currently having the deal of buy one (either the samsung propel, samsung eternity, or samsung impression) and get one free that is of equal or lesser price. Oh and the internet looks much better on the Impression.... The Impression is better because it has: - a bigger touchscreen - AMOLED screen (first in U.S.) - spacious qwerty keypad - 3.0 MP Camera - Very stylish look - TouchWiz Interface The Xenon is not better because: - not as appealing as the Impression - smaller touchscreen - not sensitive touchscreen - 2.0 MP Camera - the boring LG Interface

yes. it is probably the best phone ever in my opinion. i had a choice between the lg xenon and the samsung impression and i picked the impression. it has more mega pixels, more cool features, and basically it is just a perfect phone. look up reviews, EVERYONE loves it ! haha

The LG Xenon is a really good phone. I have four friends who have it and the all love it! The battery life is great and the touch screen is really responsive. The keyboard slides out smoothly and is very easy to type on. Overall it is a great phone! You should definitely get it! Hope this helps!

I would have to say the impression is better.
