Planet Mercury had the most extreme temperatures since it locate very near to sun and had no atmosphere so it don't have green house effect to normalize the temperature. Lowest temperature is -183oC on the side face out the sun to 427 oC on the side that facing the sun.

The temperatures encountered on a given planet in the solar system is directly correlated with its distance from the Sun. The closer to the Sun, the warmer the planet is. The farther from the Sun, the colder the planet is. Hence, the innermost planet in the solar system, Mercury, is the hottest, and the outermost planet in the solar system, Neptune, is the coldest.

Surface temperatures on Mercury range from about 90 to 700 K (-183 °C to 427 °C). Neptune's temperature at its cloud tops is usually close to 55.1 K (−218 °C).

Although not the hottest planet in our solar system, Mercury has the the most extreme temperature ranges. Temperatures can range from 90K to 700 K. Venus is slightly higher than 700K but has a more stable temperature.

Mercury. At the equator, the surface temperature on Mercury can range from -173°C to 430°C, while temperatures at the poles can plummet to around -193°C.

The large temperature range is due to a very long apparent day length, from a combination of the time taken to orbit and the planets axial rotation. Its lack of atmosphere also means that it cannot retain atmospheric heat like the other planets.

Although it's not the hottest planet in our solar system, Mercury has the greatest temperature range, going from about 90K at night (about cold enough to liquify oxygen) to about 700K in daytime (hotter than melting point of lead).

Venus because venus has a green house affect. Also because venus's atmosphere is so thick it traps in most all the sun's heat.

Why does Mercury have the most extreme temperature changes?

Mecury has the most extreme temperature changes because it is so close to the Sun, that it is the hottest planet in the solar system. At the same time, whenever there is a shadow or it turns to night, the coldness of space takes place. Mecury also does not have an atmosphere which cannot disperse the Sun's energy so the planet gets heated like a furnace.

What planet orbits in an oval the most?

The planet with the most elliptical or oval-shaped orbit is Mercury. Its orbit is highly elongated, with a high eccentricity of 0.21. This means that Mercury's distance from the Sun varies significantly throughout its orbit, causing extreme temperature fluctuations on the planet's surface.
