Well, there are majorly two types of protein that are used in protein bars: 1) whey and 2) soy. So it would depend which one these two proteins suits you the most. Many people do not eat whey because most whey is not prepared according to Kosher practices- pig enzymes are often used to extract the protein. Whey I believe comes from milk, and soy from beans. Research each, and decide for yourself! Also, next, you should read the ingredients part of the protein bar; the more protein it has, perhaps the more "potent" it is. I personally like protein bars that have alot of vitamins and nutrients as well, and are low in fat and carbohydrates.
