Most (if not all) word processors have a print preview option that allows you to see what a document will look like when you print it. Also, I believe the box that pops up when you click print has a print preview choice.
You can view your document as it will be printed without wasting paper or ink. It is environmentally responsible and makes it quicker for you to see if you need to make any changes before sending or printing the document.

A document outline view allows the user to reorder the layout of the document. It is a smaller view that fits one page on the screen.

The definition of outline view is the skeleton view of a document. This means that you will not be able to see the finer details of the document.
Print view layout
The outline view allows you to easily navigate through the structure of your document, making it easier to organize and rearrange content quickly. It provides a high-level overview of your document's layout, helping you see the big picture and make edits more efficiently.
Normal view shows the actual document body. Page layout view show the document as it would appear on a page, so you also see the page, its margins and edges as well as the body of the document.
The "Normal" view IS the 'print preview' view.
